Uncomfortable news for the England team, football made it more so

Due to a knee injury, Bukayo Saka will miss England's upcoming UEFA Nations League match against Finland. The injury was sustained by the 23-year-old Arsenal winger during the shocking defeat to Greece. The England football team released an official statement with this information.

The midfielder for Liverpool stepped down, citing personal reasons, according to the statement. With a squad of twenty-two, interim coach Lee Kersley is set to travel to Finland.

Saka departed the England team for the UEFA Nations League and this international competition. He's already back at Arsenal, or his training camp. There, his ongoing evaluation and recovery procedure will take place.

On Thursday, October 10, at Wembley, England fell short of Greece 2-1. In ten games, it was their first defeat versus Greece. Saka left the game in the 51st minute due to a leg injury. For Sunday's meeting in Finland, England will also be without Curtis Jones in addition to Saka.

It should be mentioned that England is currently in second place in the UEFA Nations League with six points after winning two of its three games in the 'B' League '2' group. Finland is at the bottom of the group standings after losing all three of their games. Greece leads with nine points.
